That’s why we don’t just rescue people, we rewire the culture. We give men new definitions of strength. We give women new tools for dignity. We give families a new agreement on what’s right and what’s never okay.

How we prevent:

The Family Agreement: a legally-binding 9-part contract signed by both spouses, enforced by village leaders and law officers
Community accountability groups like ManKind and Soul Sisters that equip and hold men and women to the higher standard of kindness
Frequent, public messaging that violence is not normal, not acceptable, and not ignored
Collaboration with probation officers, pastors, and local leaders to enforce standards and promote peace
Cultural training that redefines masculinity, partnership, and family responsibility

Entire villages are shifting. Men are changing. Women are no longer afraid to speak up. And boys are growing up with a better model.

Intervening in Real Time

When a woman is abused, she can’t wait for a conference or a campaign. She needs help now. Ourganda responds to domestic violence calls in minutes—not days—with a trained team, clear protocols, and immediate protection.
