At Ourganda, we create ecosystems that re-write the future — before tragedy takes hold. Ourganda tames the chaos.
No more band-aids. No more waiting for emergencies. Just real, radical lasting change. We change not only individuals and families, but entire villages. We are positively answering the question, “Where will 1000s of kids be in ten years?”
Our Mission
Ourganda’s mission is to deliver a positive answer to the question, “Where will thousands of kids be in ten years?”
Our Vision
Our vision is to create hundreds of villages where men, women and children feel safe, healthy and happy.
“Life isn’t just hard in the villages of Bundibugyo District, it’s fragile. Before Ourganda adopts a village, a mother watches her child gasp for breath but there’s no doctor, no medicine, no help. A husband turns to violence because he was never shown another way. A girl stays silent in the dark because the alternative is worse.
“When Ourganda started in 2018, we hoped to stop unnecessary death in the villages we adopted. Now we realize that our opportunity is so much greater. God alone can change a person’s heart, but He is showing us that He can also change entire communities. We will always keep our eyes open for a person who needs help, but at the same time, we are watching Him lift the curse of despair from hundreds — even thousands — of people.”
• Our U.S. office space is 100% donated. Thanks to the generosity of US Digital, not just the space is free but also internet, copies, furniture, tech support, access to conference rooms, and lunches! The leaders at US Digital provide everything they can think of to make Ourganda successful, and they won’t let us pay for anything.
• Our founder does not take a salary.
• Board members and committee members are all volunteers.
The amazing generosity of so many people enables Ourganda to send 96 cents of every donated dollar to our villages in Uganda.
We wish you could meet our fantastic Ugandan professionals who bring instruction, guidance and care to the people in our villages!
Every village Ourganda sponsors has a minimum of 5 Mankind and 5 Soul Sisters members who confront offenders, protect women and children, and serve as positive role models. Every month, the numbers increase which means hundreds of volunteers stand ready to protect and care for women.

Ourganda’s Community Center sits on 3.2 acres in Bundibugyo District and serves as a shared space for learning, connection, and community-led healing. Built in partnership with local leaders and craftspeople, the Center was constructed using more than 60,000 interlocking stabilized soil bricks made on-site by local workers, investing directly in local skills and labor.
“You have to build one of these campuses in every district in Uganda!”
– Ugandan Official
Community members regularly gather here to learn and share knowledge through trainings in small business development, parenting, trauma recovery, and faith-based study. The Center has also hosted women’s retreats, domestic violence prevention trainings for village and government leaders, trauma education led by the Loma Linda University trauma team, and Ourganda’s Every Child Is Safe events. Families gather at the Center for monthly sickle cell treatment, helping fill critical gaps in healthcare.
The Community Center supports the daily work of Ourganda staff and the broader efforts of the communities we serve.

Let us knowJesus saw every person as worthy of love and care. He lived unselfishly and modeled kindness. He taught that true religion consists of treating every human being with dignity, concern, and love. His ultimate act of compassion was to lay down His life on the cross for the salvation of the world. We who have accepted His redemption feel compelled to continue His work of spreading compassion and hope to as many people as we can reach in the Bundibugyo District of Uganda.
Ourganda is 100% non-denominational; those who serve with us do so without a denominational label. Everything we do is offered with no strings attached. We gladly serve everyone without regard to faith, gender, or ethnicity.
